TDF invests in early and later stage communications services, technology and media sectors across North America. Our goal is to identify, invest in and help build companies with the potential to be dominant players in their markets. Focusing on key themes that are critical to communications innovation, TDF works with entrepreneurs to develop, commercialize and capitalize on disruptive technologies and services.

We provide support and add value to our companies through all stages of a portfolio company's growth. As the telecommunication industry has evolved over the last decade into broadband, mobile, software, media and entertainment, we have developed extensive first-hand experience and a broad set industry contacts. TDF utilizes this knowledge and network to drive business and relationships that make the difference between moderate success and market leadership.

TDF is committed to working with driven entrepreneurs to build companies with strong fundamentals. As long-term partners and active board members, we work closely with our portfolio companies across key aspects of strategy, operations and governance through a variety of initiatives.

We aim to invest between $0.5 million and $5.0 million in fast growing companies with large market opportunities within communications services, communications technology, and enterprise and consumer technology businesses. TDF is willing to lead or co-lead investment rounds. Frequently we are the lead investor for our portfolio companies and approximately 75% of our investments share similar characteristics: Series A, pre-revenue, and TDF-led with board representation.
