In 2008, the TDF Foundation, in partnership with One Economy and the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) upgraded computer labs in four Baltimore City public housing communities. The computer labs provide dedicated computer resources and software applications, high-speed Internet access, and professional support to approximately 3,000 low-income residents across four communities.

Govans Manor is a high rise community located in North Baltimore City. Mr. Joseph Wiggins is the lab coordinator and offers basic computer literacy and typing classes, as well as a variety of holiday focused projects using computer technology. The computer lab is staffed by two volunteers and attracts adult and senior users.

The TDF Foundation will continue to support this community through calendar year 2010 by providing high-speed Internet service through Verizon.
